The Georgia Food Industry Association (GFIA) is committed to providing its members with a high level of services that promote the grocery industry in Georgia. As a member of GFIA, your company will benefit from dedicated legislative representation, exclusive events that showcase member products and services, and relevant industry education. Our goal is to ensure that GFIA members thrive in today’s tough economy. Many industry leaders serve on GFIA's board of directors and our Education Foundation board of trustees. |
Legislative and Regulatory Representation
The primary focus of GFIA is to represent its members before state legislators and regulatory agencies. By proactively supporting public policies that benefit the industry, GFIA works hard to limit the adverse impact of intrusive government regulations.
Exclusive Events
The "GFIA family" gathers together for several events throughout the year. The atmosphere of our events give members the chance to build personal relationships with existing and potential new customers. GFIA events also offer member companies an opportunity to showcase their products and services to decision makers within Georgia’s diverse food industry. Retailer, wholesaler and distributor companies recognize and value the support of our sponsors and advertisers.
Many industry leaders serve on GFIA's board of directors and our Education Foundation board of trustees.
Industry Education
Through the work of the Georgia Food Industry Education Foundation (GFIEF), GFIA also serves as an industry resource for educational training programs and scholarship funding.
