Each year, the GFIA annual convention kicks off with the state-level Best Bagger Contest and the Foundation’s Silent Auction at Thursday’s Opening Night Party. In between cheering for their favorite competitor in the bagger contest, attendees enjoy bidding on their favorite auction items. There’s always a great deal of excitement in the air as everyone tries to outbid their competition to win designer purses, man-cave decor, jewelry, bikes, sports memorabilia, beach items, grills, fine wines, travel packages and other valuable merchandise. It’s a wonderful opportunity to make a purchase that will help a student fund their education.
