Legislative representation is GFIA’s primary purpose. We host several events each year that give our members the opportunity to meet their elected officials, become more involved with the legislative process, and to demonstrate the strength of our industry’s support.

Legislative Reception
Each January, The Georgia Food Industry Association, The Georgia Association of Convenience Stores and The Georgia Beverage Association invite their membership to host members of the Georgia General Assembly and state elected officials at the Legislative Reception. With legislative and regulatory representation being the primary focus of the association, this grassroots event gives GFIA members the opportunity to meet and greet Georgia’s top ranking elected officials. Day in Washington
Each spring, the GFIA legislative team, members and legislative partners travel to Washington, D.C. to meet with federal legislators about issues pertaining to the food industry. It is a great experience and we encourage any member who is interested to join us for the event. [Learn More]
