FUND A SCHOLARSHIP

Picture
PIGGYBACKING SCHOLARSHIPS:
Ideal for companies who want to provide scholarship funds specifically to their employees only.

If you want to guarantee that someone from your company wins a scholarship, you may do so by "piggybacking" on the GFIA's already established scholarship program.

Piggybacking allows you to provide your own scholarship program to the children of your full-time employees and/or your part-time employees who are full-time students.  Only those applicants associated with your company can win your scholarship(s).  However, your applicants are also eligible to win other awards offered through the Foundation. For example, if you piggyback two scholarships you are guaranteeing that at least two of your applicants win awards. If another one of your applicants qualifies and wins a GFIA award, then you would have three winners.

All administrative costs are deferred to the Foundation. All selection processes, disbursement of funds, publicity pieces, etc. are handled by the Foundation and International Scholarship and Tuition Services (ISTS).  As a piggybacking company you are only responsible for funding the awards.

Employment is verified and you are notified of all winners before they are announced.

SPONSORING SCHOLARSHIPS:
Ideal for vendors and wholesalers who want to provide scholarships to the employees of their customers.

Sponsoring scholarships is an excellent way for associate members (vendors) and wholesalers to thank their retail customers and gain exposure. As a scholarship sponsor, you are able to provide scholarships in the name of your company to your retail customers. As a scholarship sponsor, you are only responsible for funding the awards.
