FOOD SAFETY TRAINING

Retailers - Are you up to date on your food safety certifications?

The Georgia Department of Agriculture requires most grocery retailers to have at least one Certified Food Protection Manager registered for each store location. Are you ready for inspection?

The SafeMark food safety program - developed BY Retailers FOR Retailers

Picture

The SafeMark Certified Food Protection Manager training course prepares managers to implement proven food safety practices and systems, maintain a safe and hygienic foodservice operation, and oversee the training and daily practices of hourly food workers to prevent the spread of foodborne illness.

This is an American National Standards Institute – Conference for Food Protection (ANSI-CFP) accredited Certification Program. The SafeMark® CFPM has been designed alongside recognized food safety experts from the grocery industry to mirror real-life situations to help grocery industry professionals understand critical food safety principles and successfully apply their skills at work in order to protect public health and meet regulatory compliance outlined in the FDA Food Code.

The online training courses provide easy-to-understand narration and relevant retailer images combined to make the instruction impactful for a wide range of learners. The simple interface makes it easy for learners with limited computer experience to complete the course, while the limited use of text helps learners with minimal reading skills stay focused. An engaging story arc sharpens the learning experience and increases comprehension.
