The GFIA Independent Council is comprised of independent retailers throughout the state of Georgia. Council meetings and seminars are a valuable way to network with other business owners, share ideas and educate your team leaders. Seminars are hosted by the GFIA Education Foundation as part of its mission to provide industry education, and are open to all independent operators in Georgia.
Past seminars have included presentations by industry experts on healthcare reform, labor laws, employee benefits, and customer service. We have also hosted panel discussions with representatives from the WIC and SNAP state agencies.
