Key Issues
KEY STATE ISSUES:
Legislative representation is GFIA’s primary purpose. Representation on behalf of our members to our elected officials and regulatory agencies is why the association is in existence.
It is no secret that the regulatory and legislative burdens placed on the food industry are many. Unique from other industries, our interests span across the legislative spectrum. Regulations and legislation ranging from tobacco and alcohol to tax and labor law greatly affect GFIA member companies.
We watch the issues so that you can concentrate on running your business!
