What to wear
  • Dress for most convention events is resort casual. For men, a collared polo shirt or Tommy Bahama style shirt with dress pants/shorts is appropriate. Women generally wear dress slacks/shorts, skirts, casual dresses and sandals.
  • The suggested Friday night dinner attire coincides with our theme. This year, we are wearing our best Hawaiian beach gear and dancing the night away with our live entertainment after dinner.
  • The Saturday night dinner is our gala event. Men wear dinner jackets with or without a tie, and women generally opt for dressier attire such as a cocktail dress.
  • Board members are encouraged to wear their blue polo shirts to the Thursday night opening party, best bagger contest and silent auction.

Kids & Teen Program Information
  • Our kids and teen programs are jam packed with fun activities and swimming, and are designed to coincide with our event schedule so that the kids can enjoy themselves while the adults attend seminars, dinners and cocktail parties. Meals and activity fees are included in the registration price.
  • At Sandestin, kids activities include swimming (of course!), wacky games, snow cones, carousel rides, slip-n-slide fun, a magic show, balloon artists, movies, a pirate ship playground, face painting, inflatables, arts & crafts. Even the most discerning teen will enjoy our beach party bonfire & smores, glow in the dark outdoor games, evening pool party and inflatables – all developed to cater to teen interests. All activities are supervised by Sandestin staff – there’s even a kiddie pool for the little ones who cannot swim. Kids age 4-13 are sure to love all that our programs have to offer! (NOTE: Children must be fully potty trained to attend – no pull ups.)

Child Care Resources
  • Please note that while many of our convention activities are geared toward families, the Friday and Saturday evening dinners are intended to be adults only. Please make childcare arrangements for any child not in our kids program.
  • Sitters are available for all ages. A list of recommended services is available from the resort. Please reserve your sitter by JUNE 1 to ensure availability.
