The Georgia Food Industry Education Foundation (GFIEF) awards scholarships to deserving students associated with our industry.  Since 1995 the Foundation has awarded over $2.3 million in scholarships!  Don't miss an opportunity to benefit from this valuable member service!

  • Applications accepted online January 1 - March 1
  • Awards are available to students attending college or a vocational/trade school in the Fall of 2025.
  • Scholarships vary annually; however, the Foundation consistently awards over 100 scholarships each year ranging from $500 - $4,000 per student.
  • Only employees or their dependents working for GFIA member companies are eligible for our scholarship program. Eligibility specifics can be found here and in the on-line application.
  • Award determinations are made by International Scholarship and Tuition Services, Inc. (“ISTS”). Student completes one application to be considered for ALL of the scholarships for which the applicant meets eligibility requirements.
