Attire
- Dress code for most convention events is resort casual, with dressier attire for the ladies and sport coats for the men at the cocktail parties and dinners. Celebrate our theme on Friday night by dressing in red, white & blue. Take it to the next level with aviator glasses or other Top Gun attire. Saturday is our gala evening with the Chairman’s Cocktail Party, Dinner & Dessert Party.
Housekeeping
- For your stay, Sandestin does NOT do daily housekeeping service. Rooms are refreshed on the 3rd day, which includes trash removal, replenishing towels, and a light touch-up of the space.
Parking
- At check in, you'll receive a QR code for parking - this will assign your parking area and let you in/out the parking lot.

GFIA Exclusive Shuttle to/from the beach during the day
All attendees are REQUIRED to show their SNACK SHACK BAND to the tram driver before boarding.
GFIA dedicated transportation shuttles are being offered to/from the beach access point at The Beach House. These trams will pick up in front of the Grand Sandestin.

Sandestin will be providing transportation to/from the Linkside Center and The Grand Sandestin/Baytowne Conference Center between 9:45AM - 1:45PM on Saturday. Limited parking available at Linkside Center for trade show exhibitors. Any vehicles not parked in designated parking areas will be towed by the resort. Parking is strictly enforced!
These shuttles are only for GFIA convention attendees and this is an EXPRESS route that will loop regularly during these hours to pick up and/or drop off convention attendees.
Decision Maker Exhibit Show: 10:00am-11:30am (Retailers & Wholesalers Only*)
*Adults Only – 21+
Early arrivals without a pre-show pass will have to wait outside on the sidewalk until doors open at 11:30 AM. There is no air-conditioned space to wait. Please plan accordingly.
Trade Show: 11:30am-1:00pm (Open to ALL members)

- Please note we do not have a GFIA children's or teen program; however, the hotel offers sitter services and a kids program. While many of our convention activities are geared toward families, the cocktail parties and dinners are intended to be adults only. Please make childcare arrangements.
