GFIA Chairman Greg Crook has selected Angel’s House as his Chairman’s Choice Charity. Since opening their doors in June 2004, their program has evolved, but the mission has stayed the same--to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of every child who walks across their threshold. The Angel House service area remains predominantly Coweta County, but the shelter is open to children in state custody throughout Georgia. Many of the children who come to Angel’s House on an emergency basis walk in with only the clothes on their backs. The length of stay varies from overnight to several years, based on the specific need. Community support is extremely necessary and deeply appreciated to meet the needs of these children. How can you help? |
As an emergency shelter and group foster home for young women, who are in DFCS custody, Angel’s House runs much like every other household with the same basic needs.
In the spirit of holiday giving, be an Angel and bring a donation to the holiday party. Young women deserve to feel loved this holiday.
