The GFIA Education Foundation has adopted an electronic / fax submission process to allow more accurate and efficient data entry. Applicants are to apply on-line and to submit all supporting documents (transcripts and essays) via a fax/scan number provided on the application.
HARD APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE TO APPLICANTS!!!
Helpful Application / Program Tips:
All applicants will be prompted to create a user-name and password. The account that you create can be used to update your application and to check the status of your application.- One week after submitting your application and supporting documents, go back to the website and enter your user-name and password to verify the status of your application. Applications will be coded "Complete" only when all documents have been received. Only complete applications will be judged. If you feel that you have supplied all of the documents and are concerned about an incomplete status, please contact the GFIA or ISTS before March 1st.
- When applying, each active GFIA company is listed in the drop-down company list. It is critical that you select the correct company name. If you do not see your company name, please contact the GFIA.
- Provide a valid email address! All communications will be done via email including winner notification and acceptance. Provide an email address that you check frequently throughout the school year and summer. If you do not respond to winner acceptance emails before the deadline, your scholarship will be forfeited.
