GFIA Members are offered the opportunity to fund scholarships in the name of your company or a person of importance.  A company can choose to fund scholarships that are only awarded to the employees of their company (Piggybacking) or fund an award that will be given to an employee of a GFIA member company (Sponsoring).

Piggybacking is a great opportunity for a company wishing to offer scholarships to their employees without the hassle or politics of selecting winners.  Sponsoring is a great idea for vendors wishing to provide scholarships to their retail customers while gaining recognition.

Interested companies select the amount they want to fund, specify criteria and that's it!  The GFIEF will judge scholarships, disburse funds and absorb all administrative costs.  For more information on funding awards (Piggyback and Sponsored Scholarships) please contact Jacqueline Newman, jnewman@gfia.org or click the link below for a form.

Important Dates:

   * Annual Scholarship funding renewals due by November 16

   * Education Foundation posters to be displayed by January 1

   * Funded scholarships must be paid by January 29
